From the origins of the National Freight Consortium and with over 150 man-years of development DRIVE was born.

In 1990 DRIVE Co-Founder Martin Drake was part of the Management Team that acquired FCS Computer Services from the recently privatised National Freight Consortium, where as head of Sales and Marketing, Martin was responsible for establishing FCS and its Servitor product as a leading supplier to the Direct Services Organisations within local government.The success of the Servitor product and the expertise gained in the creation of Software to Manage Local Government Fleet requirements led to the creation of the initial DRIVE Fleet Management Software product.

In 2002 together with fellow co-founder Lorrie Rodia, Martin Drake was responsible for acquiring and providing additional financing and support to purchase FCS Computer Services and to create Drive Software Solutions a privately owned UK business dedicated to the delivery of Vehicle Management, Contract Management and Leasing solutions to owners of large fleets of vehicles and complex assets. 

Drive Software Solutions Ltd are the creators and suppliers of the DRIVE Fleet Management and Leasing software product - a single generic product that can support vehicle management requirements worldwide. 

Today DRIVE operates in 54 countries and is trusted by some of the biggest operators in the world.

Renowned Fleet Industry IT expert with over 30 years of experience, Simon joined FCS in 1996 to launch DRIVE. Today he heads up the sales and marketing team to drive growth and develop DRIVE's global brands.
Carlo Marrone
Carlo MarroneDevelopment Manager
Carlo is a member of the Management and Operations teams; whose goal is to ensure that through process improvement and innovation the business is run efficiently and successfully. His current responsibilities are managing the development, Technical and QA functions.
Natalie Leavey
Natalie LeaveyManager - Medium Business Unit
Natalie is responsible for the management of customers, sales activity and system implementations in the medium business unit. Both the project management and consultancy teams sit within Natalie’s responsibilities ensuring resources are correctly allocated on projects across the company's three business units.
Sue Wheeler
Sue WheelerHR Manager
Sue has responsibility for all aspects of the HR function and additionally manages the office administrator. She is part of the Management Team and the Operations Team and still assists the directors and shareholders of the company when required.
Stuart Newmarch
Stuart NewmarchProduct Manager
Stuart started at DRIVE in 1999 as a Graduate Developer and after a year away returned to the company in 2006. Currently he is the Product and Delivery Manager for ODO, DRIVE’s newest product, where he is responsible for all development and heading up the development team.
