Acquisitions & Disposals

The acquisitions functionality in DRIVE is integrated with the quotations module allowing for dealer pricing enquiries to be generated directly from the quotation to a dealer or multiple dealers.

In addition to this dealer enquiries can also be generated at the time the quotation is accepted allowing for multiple dealers to bid for the order. Detailed dealer and supplier information can be stored and managed in DRIVE. All vehicle and asset specifications can be stored in DRIVE including the uploading of reference data from external sources. DRIVE also allows for multi quote generation, VRB management and pricing management.

The progression of the order can be monitored by the eCustomer, eBroker and back of house users through user defined statuses. Additional information such as delivery address, registered address, insurance policy details and vehicle technical details are also visible within the acquisition.

DRIVE has a comprehensive Disposals Module. Vehicles can be disposed through multiple channels such as auctions, companies and direct to a driver. This module can also be interfaced with external disposal platforms. Once the contract has been terminated the vehicle will be available to be disposed of in DRIVE.

Disposal system defaults are used to record the data that will be applicable to all disposals, saving time and accuracy, this includes items such as disposal vehicle status before and after sales, expenditure/account codes, invoice type and invoice payment policy. The auction bids functionality is used to record and maintain individual auctions bids on vehicles. The reserve price, date and auction site use can be recorded, along with the highest bid, bid date and bid accepted.

Within the disposals module the functionality allows the charging of additional services such as delivery costs and vehicle valet. These services can be added to the sales invoice price. Disposal payables can also be recorded against a disposal sale, including cost such as, but not limited to, a delivery charge from a supplier. Additionally, linked vehicle assets such as a chassis cab and body can be sold together or unlinked prior to disposal within DRIVE.
